Hello October,

I have missed you (as much as one can miss a month at least). This year marks the return of 31 Days of Halloween, a journey I started last year which chronicles the everyday musings of this whimsical season. A new year marks new changes for this season’s passage. This year I’m working and will have less time for extravagant ventures, tho I still plan on eating myself into a sugar coma, dressing up, and seeking out all kinds of thrills. They will just be less frequent (I know, I know, try and stifle the tears). However, everyday will still be filled with something to celebrate my favorite month whether it be a story, poem, a recipe, or an adventure. With that being said, let the festivities begin :)

Day 31

Halloween

Halloween night is finally here! The day started out a bit stressful when the power went out at my house for half the day! But tonight I dressed up as Rapunzel again only this time, I did the version of her where her hair is all braided and full of flowers. It took me 2 hours to do but it was worth it to see the look on the younger trick or treaters faces. Some of the little girls gasped when they saw me and exclaimed "Rapunzel!" I had a Pasqual doll saftey pinned to my shoulder which all the boy trick or treaters kept saying they really liked. I got lots of compliments and it was a lot of fun, seeing that magic feeling for some of the littler kids that I was really Rapunzel brought to life. It made my night that they recognized me and got so excited about it. It made me feel like I wanted to work at Disneyland as a princess there.

After passing out some candy for a while, I went to a friends house for a Halloween party where we danced, ate candy, told stories, and watched the movie, "The Fourth Kind" (super freaky btw). I didn't have a camera so I only had my phone to use to take photos. But it was an amazing night and an amazing month. Thanks again to all who participated with me this month and tuned in to this blog. May the next year bring you joy and excitement, and happy Halloween :)

  1. Though most of the teens seem to have outgrown their childhood craziness, they still love to attend Halloween parties. halloween decor
